Hunter introduces compact console for Ultimate ADAS® calibration system

Smaller unit provides reduced footprint and increased mobility

Hunter Engineering is pleased to announce the new optional Compact Console configuration for the Ultimate ADAS® alignment and calibration system.

The lighter-look version offers an alternate choice from the standard Ultimate ADAS® console, providing a reduced equipment footprint along with increased maneuverability.

The compact unit is designed for shops needing less target storage space, such as collision shops, or those with existing storage systems sufficient for performing calibrations for a range of OEMs.

The new console conveniently holds wheel targets for rapid setups, and comes standard with a 32-inch monitor, wireless connection between the console and the sensor tower, setup for aftermarket battery backup, and three flexible wall-mount brackets for secure storage of the radar plate and target boards.

“Responding to customer requests, we’re excited to offer this new smaller-footprint configuration for shops without a need for onboard target storage space,” said Hunter Product Manager David Agnew. “Adding to the convenience is greater maneuverability and a reduced price.”

Approved by 11 OEMs, Ultimate ADAS® is Hunter’s award-winning system for eliminating error-prone manual layouts common to static ADAS calibrations, combining standard-setting alignment technology with an efficient and easy-to-use guided target placement system for around-the-vehicle coverage.

Gimbal-mounted lasers are the key component, replacing the inexact guesswork of strings, plumb bobs and tape measures to cut setup time by 70 percent for some procedures.
